Chips Ahoy Just Dropped Three Brand-New Flavors, and There’s a Clear Winner
It's the "Summer of Soccer" for Chips Ahoy, and these three flavors are a festive way to celebrate.
Home bakers, I have to admit something. I genuinely prefer store-bought cookies to homemade ones. Gasp! It’s not like I dislike homemade cookies, but I have such a nostalgic sweet spot for packaged cookies.
They make me think of parties and events throughout my life. It was so easy to bring a pack of Oreos to my dance recitals for all of us to share backstage. One time my brother and I ate an entire package of those Keebler Elf sandwich cookies at a family reunion. Even as an adult, it’s so easy to swing by the store and pick up a pack of cookies before heading to a friend’s house. It takes zero effort, and everyone loves them!
So I was very happy to hear that Chips Ahoy is launching three brand-new flavors ahead of summer party season. I had a chance to try them all, and there is one clear winner that I will definitely be buying again.
What are the new Chips Ahoy cookie flavors?

The FIFA World Cup 2026 is happening in June, and Chips Ahoy decided to launch a trio of fun new flavors to celebrate: Chewy Dulce De Leche, Chewy Chocolatey Churro and Crunchy Red, White & Blue Candy Blasts.
“National sporting occasions bring people together, and snacking is always at the center of the celebration,” said Nick Rogers, Director of Portfolio Marketing and Sponsorship at Mondelez International, in a press release. “Mondelez is building a playbook that puts our brands right where fans are watching, cheering and snacking.”
And I’m not the only one who feels a little bit nostalgic about these kinds of snacks. Our own soccer “Captain America,” Christian Pulisic, said something similar about the partnership. In the same press release, Pulisic mentioned that these cookies “call back great memories of eating them after games as a kid. It means a lot to have them in my corner as I compete this summer.”
Each of the packages features a different professional soccer player (Sophia Wilson, Alex Morgan and Christian Pulisic), and the flavors themselves celebrate international desserts.
How do the new Chips Ahoy cookies taste?

In my opinion, there is no competition here: the Chewy Chocolatey Churro cookies are incredible and blow the other two flavors out of the water. The cinnamon flavor comes through really well, and they even have a soft chocolate center. It’s a great textural component that contrasts the chocolate chips that are also in the cookie. I kept going back for more throughout the day and wishing that I had a glass of horchata to dunk these in!
The other flavors are fine. There’s nothing wrong or bad about them, and they deliver on their flavor profiles. I just think they’re not playing on the same level as the Chocolatey Churro variety. To put it in soccer terms: the Chocolatey Churro are definitely in the Premier League, and the Dulce De Leche and Red, White & Blue Candy Blasts are in the Championship League. All of these flavors are putting in the work, but it’s just a great year for the Chocolatey Churro team.
When will the new Chips Ahoy cookies be available?
You can pre-order the cookies on the Chips Ahoy website now. If you miss the pre-order window online, the cookies will be available at participating retailers nationwide beginning May 4.
Whether you’re an avid soccer fan or simply have a few graduation parties to hit this year, I think that these cookies will make an excellent addition to your cart. That is, if I don’t buy up all the Chocolatey Churro ones first!
