Here's when you can score the ultimate It Girl drink, aka Taco Bell's Olivia Rodrigo Baja Blast.
When I think of a good time, I think about Taco Bell. More specifically, I think about a Cheesy Gordita Crunch and a Baja Blast (or the current throwback 2016 Decades Menu). And, apparently, I’m in good company, because Olivia Rodrigo is also a huge fan.
The Grammy-award winning singer and songwriter has been booked and busy. Since 2021, she’s released three studio albums: Sour, Guts and her most recent chart-topper, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love. I mean, with all that work it’s no wonder she needs a little caffeine boost with her taco run!
Soon, fans of both Olivia and Taco Bell will be able to enjoy a very special drink that celebrates two icons.
What is the new Olivia Rodrigo Baja Blast drink?
The new drink is called You Seem Pretty Pink for a Baja Blast. I am a huge fan of creative names, and this one that riffs on her latest album title is such a fun one.
“One of my favorite drinks ever is a Mountain Dew Baja Blast, so I genuinely cannot believe You Seem Pretty Pink for a Baja Blast is real,” Olivia said in a press release from Taco Bell.
The new drink will combine the classic lime flavor of the OG Baja Blast with a blast of pink lemonade flavor and color. It all swirls together in a custom cup that has a photo of Olivia on it. I mean, you know you’ve made it when Taco Bell puts you on its cups.
When can I get the Olivia Rodrigo Baja Blast?
There is only one downside to this news. Fans will have to wait until Sept. 24 to sample the drink at participating Taco Bell locations nationwide.
If you happen to be a lucky fan who lives near a Live Màs Cafe, you can get it as early as Aug. 29. That’s also when Olivia’s inaugural Daisy Chain Fields Festival will be happening in Irvine, CA, and festival goers will be able to sip the pink drink while listening to their favorite artists.
In the meantime, though, mark Sept. 24 down. It’s when you can head to your local Taco Bell and celebrate in style. I mean, I can’t think of a better way to kick off Libra season than with a pink Baja Blast. In a way, this is kind of like the ultimate birthday gift from Olivia and Taco Bell to me.
