If you’re a fan of boldly going where no one has gone before in the kitchen, then I have great news. Le Creuset just announced a brand-new collection of Star Trek products, and I haven’t been this excited about a collaboration in years.

I grew up watching Star Trek: Voyager as a kid and was obsessed with Captain Janeway and Seven of Nine. My parents were big fans of the original show starring William Shatner as Captain Kirk, and they loved sharing this world with my brother and me. Like any good fandom, the lore runs deep. I promise to include as many Star Trek references in this news story as possible, so read on and prosper.

What comes in the new Le Creuset Star Trek collection?

The real Kobayashi Maru will be trying not to buy every single item. There are brand-new mini cocottes in the shape of Balok, the Gorn or Talosians. If you prefer to start your morning on a highly logical note, then you will need the Spock mug.

Of course, the crown jewel of the Le Creuset line is the Dutch oven. The Star Trek collection includes one that emulates the Enterprise and has a Starfleet Delta knob. But if you consider yourself more of a kitchen warrior, then maybe the Klingon braiser is for you.

If I had to narrow down my favorite item in the entire collection, though, it has to be the Communi-grater. This folding grater can be adjusted to grate cheese at any angle, and when it folds flat, it looks exactly like a communicator from the series. It’s the kind of attention to detail that both home cooks and Star Trek fans can get on board with.

When will the Le Creuset Star Trek collection be available?

The full collection is available now on the Le Creuset website. What I love about this collection is that the products are available at a variety of price points, starting at just $40 for a Live Long & Prosper oven mitt. If you are someone who likes to get their holiday shopping done in advance, then I highly suggest checking this out for the Trekkies in your life.

As with any limited-edition collaboration, this is sure to sell out—and quickly. After all, today is a good day to buy.
