Hello, Bakers!

Welcome to Bakeable, the community of home bakers who love to bake for others. If baking is your love language, you’re in the right place. We’re thrilled you’re here with us.

Who We Are

Bakeable is a community of people who spread love through baking. We're happiest with flour on our aprons, something good in the oven and the people we'll share it with on our minds. We believe baking is the sweetest way to show someone you care, and we're always ready to show up with brownies.

How did you get into baking?

I grew up around baking. My mom was a professional baker, and my grandma had even higher standards.

What do you like to bake most?

I’m known for my pastries. I even made my own wedding cake!

Who do you bake for?

I bake for a variety of people, like my fellow churchgoers and neighbors. As a homeschool teacher, I also teach younger kids how to make basic recipes and high schoolers more advanced ones.

What do you love most about the Bakeable Community?

I like to see what other people are making and read the stories on how they share those bakes.

What makes you keep showing up?

I love the new #CommunityBakes initiative, highlighting when we use our baking to serve others. I think we've all been on the giving and receiving ends of a good plate of cookies, and it's good to encourage one another to use our baking to brighten others' days.

Bake with Us

Whether we’re creating a beautiful birthday cake or whipping up a quick batch of chocolate chip cookies, our homemade bakes are always shared with someone special. That’s why we bake, isn’t it?

This Month’s Mission: Share an Apple Dessert

Even if the weather hasn't quite caught up, September marks the start of autumn for so many of us—especially those with a fall baking bucket list. Ease into the season with something simple, like an apple crisp or apple cake with your best picks from the orchard (it's always a good idea to go on the earlier side, anyway). There's nothing cozier than digging into fresh-baked apple desserts with loved ones. Enjoy!

Community Bakes

The Community Bakes movement celebrates baking not as a technical challenge, but as an act of connection. Here's how it works:

  1. Choose a bake that’s easy to share.
  2.

  3. Gift it to someone to say thanks or brighten their day.
  4.

  5. Capture a photo or short video of the bake or gifting moment and use the hashtag #CommunityBakes on social media for the chance to be featured.
  6.
