From the Recipe Creator: Sweet rice flour makes these mochi brownies a bit chewier than a regular brownie, yet still as fudgy and chocolaty as their counterparts! —Lucy Wang, Los Angeles, California

“I wanted to shake things up a bit and try something outside of my comfort zone for this month’s mission, so I made Mochi Brownies and shared them with the family. They were a big hit! Nice and chocolatey, fun to make and a new favorite for the ones that prefer their sweets a little less sweet.” —Monica Paul

Tiramisu Brownies

2 Reviews
Total Time:50 min
Servings:12 brownies
Test Kitchen Approved

“These brownies are rich and decadent—a little goes a long way! My only alteration was to leave out the espresso in the mascarpone topping; otherwise followed the recipe as-is. I know with tiramisu you usually sprinkle cocoa powder on top, so I appreciate that this recipe did that to keep true to the theme. However, I didn’t care for it on these. I thought the brownies themselves provided enough chocolate flavor, and the added cocoa powder on top made them almost a touch bitter. So, I think per my own tastes, I would skip that next time. Otherwise, it’s a lovely recipe!” —Kim Shupe
