You're going to want to sign up for dessert at your next summer potluck.
By this point in the year, dessert menus all start drifting toward classic warm-weather flavors. Berries show up everywhere. Marshmallows become acceptable in situations that have nothing to do with camping. And stone fruits start taking over bakery cases and grocery store displays.
The Nothing Bundt Cakes summer menu appears fully committed to that energy this season. The popular bakery chain just announced its latest lineup, including the return of a couple fan-favorites alongside several limited-time releases rolling out through August.
One new flavor in particular already sounds like the sort of dessert people start planning cookout menus around.
What are the new Nothing Bundt Cake summer flavors?
The biggest returning flavor this summer is S’mores Made With Hershey’s, arriving June 1 through July 19. The chocolate cake is baked with Hershey’s milk chocolate chips and mini marshmallows, then topped with butter graham streusel for something that feels very firmly aimed at people who think summer desserts should involve campfire flavors whenever possible. It’ll be available in all cake sizes for a limited time.
The new addition this season is Peach Cobbler, a Pop-Up Bundtlet flavor available June 8 through June 21. The peaches-and-cream cake is filled with cinnamon peaches and topped with the brand’s signature cream cheese frosting and a brown-sugar butter crumble.
Nothing Bundt Cakes also confirmed several more seasonal flavors arriving later this summer, including Cinnamon Roll Pop-Up Bundtlets from July 6 through July 19, the return of Lemon Raspberry in all sizes from July 20 through August 30 and a new Turtle Cheesecake Swirl Pop-Up arriving July 27 through August 9.
Honestly, the hardest part of this announcement may be deciding which flavor deserves the first trip to my closest Nothing Bundt Cakes store. Peach cobbler feels inevitable, but Lemon Raspberry returning later this summer is also going to test my self-control in a very real way.
