Unlike a Bouquet Box, a FromYouFlowers delivery doesn’t require any unboxing or arranging on the recipient’s part. The brand instead partners with local florists, who then arrange and hand-deliver the fresh bouquets in vases, right to the recipient’s door.
Customers can select from a huge library of arrangements, including live plants and bulb gardens. Most arrangements are available in three tiered sizes, which determines the number of stems used in the bouquet. Because these flowers don’t travel through the mail, they arrive in the best possible condition and last for over a week with proper care.
The site also offers other gifts for special occasions, like gift baskets, plants, and personalized photo vases. It’s a solid one-stop shop for gifting—especially last minute gifts, thanks to same-day delivery options on select arrangements.
How We Tested FromYouFlowers
We originally tried FromYouFlowers back in 2023 as part of our testing for flower delivery services. For our initial testing, we ordered the Southern Peach Bouquet, which costs $55 for the regular size, $65 for the deluxe size and $75 for the premium size.
Upon arrival, our testers found the bouquet stunning. It featured fragrant, beautiful lilies and succulents that added a cool touch of modernism and texture. Overall, we were impressed by this sweet and elegant bouquet’s uniqueness, size and presentation.
To further test the quality of the service, we ordered another batch of flower deliveries in 2026. For our second test, we opted for two new arrangements: the Raspberries & Crème bouquet tested by Deputy Editor Katie Bandurski and the Cherry Blossoms arrangement tested by writer Barbara Bellesi Zito.
However, bouquets aren’t the only options available on the FromYouFlowers website. The service instead takes a page from our favorite plant clubs, offering a number of live plants for delivery. Unlike the fresh arrangements, the live plants do travel through the mail in a carefully packaged box unless they’re available locally. Writer Marisa Hillman tested the Flowers Smiles Bulb Garden, which is unfortunately no longer on the website.
We chose the deluxe version of each bouquet, which cost $70 and $75, respectively. The bulb garden came in at around $60. All options include a $15 delivery fee tacked on, with small $3 surcharges for weekend and next day deliveries. Customers can also add balloons, chocolate and teddy bears to their order, though we opted to skip any extras.
Delivery
Next-day delivery is available for many of the options on-site. There are also delivery slots available for up to three months in advance. Same-day delivery is limited to a smaller pool of arrangements available on the same-day delivery page. Guaranteed morning delivery is also available for a $5 fee, and when available, it selects automatically. We recommend double-checking your selections prior to checkout if you don’t want to pay the additional few dollars.
Since assembly and delivery is handled by local florists, we encountered three very different delivery experiences. Katie’s Raspberries & Crème bouquet was hand-delivered and required a signature. However, Marisa’s Flower Smiles Bulb Garden was shipped and delivered through the mail. The bulb garden arrived a day later than expected in a cardboard box lightly packed with plain paper, much like the bulb club we tested.
Barbara wasn’t home for the first delivery attempt. The florist attempted to call her and coordinate a better time. I (as the sender) also received an email notification that she missed the delivery attempt. The florist wasn’t able to get a hold of her, so they delivered the flowers later in the evening.
Barbara’s Cherry Blossoms arrangement was left on her porch in a cardboard box with tissue paper for protection. Unlike Katie, she didn’t receive any notice that the florist had dropped the flowers off—she simply saw the delivery on her doorbell camera. We recommend giving your recipient a head’s up so they can keep an eye out for their delivery, that way it doesn’t sit outside.
Quality
All three recipients were delighted with their arrangements. Katie notes that her Raspberries & Crème bouquet was one of the prettiest bouquets she’s ever received, with its deep pops of burgundy paired with white, peach, light purple and greenery.
“The flowers arrived in perfect condition,” she says. “Every bloom was open and in peak beauty. It smelled amazing and looked just as good.”
Similarly, Barbara’s arrangement was absolutely stuffed with blooms and smelled amazing for days on end.
“It was the fullest bouquet I’ve ever seen,” says Barbara of her Cherry Blossoms arrangement. “I was actually concerned that it was too crowded for me to add more water when needed, but I was able to fit my watering can in with no issue. Purple is one of my favorite colors and this did not disappoint! I loved every single stem in this arrangement, even the greenery. The roses were beautiful and accented well by all the other blooms.”
Marisa’s bulb garden arrived just prior to blooming and came with some basic care instructions to help it thrive.
“I’ve never received an arrangement that I would have to grow myself,” she says. “I appreciated that the shoots were already emerging from the soil. Since I don’t have a green thumb, I am just following the instructions and hoping for the best! I was nervous at first that it wouldn’t grow. But after a week everything is coming up nicely.”
Longevity
Katie notes that her Raspberries & Crème bouquet lasted for around ten days before she had to toss most of the arrangement. Barbara had to toss hers at 10 days as well, but only because she left for vacation. Had she been around to prune and water the flowers, she’s confident that hers would have lasted a full two weeks. For live plants like Marisa’s bulb garden, blooms last for as long as you care for them unless they fall out of season.
“When you get a bouquet pre-arranged like this, it’s typically at its peak when it’s delivered,” Katie explains. “This is the one main variance between ‘in the box’ arrangements you design yourself—a lot of times, for freshness, the flowers are still slightly budded closed and they (hopefully!) open with time. The pre-arranged bouquets will have a shorter shelf life because there are fewer/no buds to open.”
Substitutions
It’s worth noting that because you’re ordering on the FromYouFlowers website, local florists may substitute out-of-season or out-of-stock blooms for flowers of a comparable quality and color. If you have your heart set on something specific, we recommend calling your local florist instead to see what’s available. While FromYouFlowers partners do a fantastic job of substituting unavailable blooms, the picture almost never matches the real arrangement perfectly.
While our arrangements were quite close to the advertised photos, both the Raspberries and Cream arrangement and Cherry Blossoms arrangement arrived in different vases than the ones pictured. The purple vase from the Cherry Blossoms arrangement looked pretty close to the pictured vase, but the Raspberries and Cream bouquet came in a pearlescent pastel vase, rather than the advertised textured white vase. That said, we actually like the replacement vase more than the one we expected!
Marisa’s bulb garden shoots arrived in a plastic pot inside of a more decorative container. Marisa notes that the container was pretty thin and could be an actual sheet of birch bark. While this was slightly different than the option pictured on the website, it was still lovely. The pot itself was protected by shredded wood top-dressing that was to be removed upon arrival. It was held in place by two rubber bands and was very easy to remove.
