Strawberry Lemon Drop

A strawberry lemon drop takes the classic flavor combo of lemons and strawberries and gives it a sweet, boozy kick.

Ingredients

  • 3 fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1-1/2 ounces freshly squeezed lemon juice, plus more for the rim
  • Ice cubes
  • 1-1/2 ounces vodka
  • 1/4 ounce triple sec
  • Sugar
  • Lemon wheel or sliced strawberries, for garnish

Directions

  1. Place strawberries and lemon juice in a glass; muddle until strawberries are smashed. Strain into a separate container, discarding the strawberry solids.
  2. Fill a cocktail shaker three-quarters full with ice cubes. Add juice mixture, vodka and triple sec. Shake until well-chilled, 15-20 seconds.
  3. Moisten rim of a cocktail glass with lemon juice. Sprinkle sugar on a plate; dip rim in sugar. Pour mixture into the prepared glass. Garnish with a lemon wheel or strawberry slices to serve.
