Strawberry Crackle Salad

This sweet, crunchy and creamy strawberry crackle salad is always a potluck favorite and disappears in a flash. It tastes like strawberry pretzel salad!
Ingredients
- 2 cups pretzels, crushed
- 3/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tub (8 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 4 cups chopped fresh strawberries
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 400°. Line a 15x10x1-in. rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- In a large bowl, stir together crushed pretzels, chopped pecans and brown sugar. Add melted butter; stir to coat. Spread the pretzel mixture in an even layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake 5-8 minutes or until bubbly. Let cool completely on the baking sheet; break the crackle apart into pieces.
- In a large bowl, beat together cream cheese, sugar and vanilla. Gently fold in whipped topping; fold in chopped strawberries. Refrigerate until ready to serve, at least 1 hour.
- Just before serving, stir in half the pretzel crunch. Top with the remaining pretzel crunch.
