Ingredients

  • 2 cups pretzels, crushed
  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tub (8 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 4 cups chopped fresh strawberries

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°. Line a 15x10x1-in. rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. In a large bowl, stir together crushed pretzels, chopped pecans and brown sugar. Add melted butter; stir to coat. Spread the pretzel mixture in an even layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake 5-8 minutes or until bubbly. Let cool completely on the baking sheet; break the crackle apart into pieces.
  3. In a large bowl, beat together cream cheese, sugar and vanilla. Gently fold in whipped topping; fold in chopped strawberries. Refrigerate until ready to serve, at least 1 hour.
  4. Just before serving, stir in half the pretzel crunch. Top with the remaining pretzel crunch.
