Capture the classic flavors of ham, Swiss cheese and creamy sauce in this weeknight-friendly slow-cooker chicken cordon bleu.
Ingredients
- 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts (6 ounces each)
- 1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
- 1 cup 2% milk
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 3/4 pound sliced deli ham, chopped
- 2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
- 1 package (6 ounces) reduced-sodium stuffing mix
- 1 cup butter, cut into thin slices
- Chopped fresh parsley, optional
Directions
- Place chicken in a 5- or 6-qt. slow cooker. Layer with ham and Swiss cheese. In a small bowl, mix soup, milk and pepper; pour over top. Sprinkle with stuffing mix. Layer butter slices over stuffing.
- Cook, covered, on low 4-5 hours or until chicken is tender. If desired, sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley.
