Rice Paper Chips

Total Time Prep: 15 mins. Cook: 5 mins./batch
Yield 2 servings
After just a few minutes in the air fryer, these rice paper chips are airy, crunchy and ready to be dusted with your favorite seasoning mix.

Ingredients

  • 8 rice papers (8 inches)
  • Cooking spray
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat air-fryer to 375°. Fill a shallow bowl with water. Soak a rice paper in the water just until pliable, 10-15 seconds (depending on thickness of rice paper); remove, allowing excess water to drip off.
  2. Stack two rice papers on top of each other; cut into 2-in. squares with a pizza cutter. Repeat with remaining rice paper.
  3. Working in batches, place rice paper pieces in air-fryer basket; arrange in a single layer. Spray lightly with cooking spray. Cook 5-7 minutes or until lightly browned, puffed and crispy.
  4. In a small bowl, combine salt, garlic powder, paprika and pepper. Toss warm chips in seasoning; serve immediately.
