Million-Dollar Burgers

Million-dollar burgers are over the top, with mix-ins that make them extra juicy and a mile-high stack of toppings.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 4 tablespoons finely chopped onion
  • 4 tablespoons chili sauce
  • 4 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 teaspoons prepared mustard
  • 8 hamburger buns, split and toasted
  • OPTIONAL TOPPINGS:
  • 8 slices pepper jack cheese
  • Grilled Corn with seasoned oil and spices
  • Chili-lime mayonnaise sauce
  • Sliced Fresno chile pepper rings
  • Sliced avocado
  • Red onion rings
  • Cooked bacon strips
  • Fresh cilantro leaves

Directions

  1. Combine first 5 ingredients, mixing lightly but thoroughly. Shape into 8 patties. Grill burgers, covered, on an oiled rack over medium direct heat until a thermometer reads 160° and juices run clear, about 6 minutes on each side.
  2. During the last minute of cooking, top each patty with a slice of pepper jack cheese if desired. Serve on buns. Garnish with toppings as desired.
