Garlic Bread Biscuits

Parmesan cheese, garlic, fresh parsley and butter give these tall, flaky garlic bread biscuits a craveable flavor boost.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2/3 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 1-1/3 cups 2% milk
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley
  • GARLIC BUTTER:
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh parsley

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°. In a large bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, Parmesan, salt and garlic powder. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add milk and parsley; stir just until moistened.
  2. Turn out onto a lightly floured surface; knead gently 8-10 times. Pat dough to 1/2-in. thickness. Cut into 2-in. squares.
  3. Place 1 in. apart on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake until golden brown, 13-15 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine garlic butter ingredients. Brush over hot biscuits.
