Fluffernutter Brownies

A sweet New England sandwich, reimagined as a dessert! Fluffernutter brownies are studded with marshmallows and chocolate, and topped with swirls of marshmallow creme and peanut butter.
Ingredients
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup butter, cubed
- 2 large eggs
- 2/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup miniature marshmallows
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup marshmallow fluff
Directions
- In a microwave, melt semisweet chips and butter; stir until smooth. Cool for 10 minutes.
- In a large bowl, beat the eggs, brown sugar and vanilla until blended. Beat in chocolate mixture. Combine the flour, baking powder and salt; gradually add to batter and beat until well mixed. Stir in the marshmallows and dark chocolate chips.
- Spread into a parchment-lined 13x9-in. baking pan. Warm peanut butter slightly in the microwave for 30 seconds. Spoon peanut butter and marshmallow creme over top, swirl with a knife. Bake at 325° for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean (do not overbake). Cool completely on a wire rack.
