Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 3 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh gingerroot
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon mirin (sweet rice wine)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 12 wonton wrappers (circles)
  • Optional: Chili crisp sauce, sliced green onions, sesame seeds, soy sauce

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the first 7 ingredients; mix lightly but thoroughly.
  2. Place one-third of filling in the bottom of a 3-cup baking dish. Cut three wonton wrappers in half; place around the edge of the dish, cut side in. Place one whole wonton wrapper in the center, creating a layer of wonton wrappers. Repeat layers twice.
  3. In a large saucepot, place a steamer basket over 1 in. of water. Place wonton lasagna in basket. Bring water to a boil. Reduce heat to maintain a simmer; steam, covered, until a thermometer inserted into the center of the dish registers 160°, 30-35 minutes.
  4. Garnish with chili crisp, sliced green onions, sesame seeds and soy sauce, as desired.
