Dr Pepper pie is a custardy, rich summer dessert that reimagines the favorite soda flavor into a float-inspired pie.

Ingredients

  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 3 large egg yolks
  • 2 cans (14 ounces each) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup Dr. Pete concentrate (SodaStream brand)
  • 1 teaspoon red food coloring
  • 1 graham cracker crust (9 inches)
  • TOPPING:
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • Maraschino cherries

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°. In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Beat in egg yolks. Beat in milk and soda concentrate; pour into crust. Place pie on a baking sheet. Bake until center is almost set, 22-25 minutes. Cool completely on a wire rack. Cover and refrigerate until chilled, 3 hours or overnight.
  2. For topping, in a large bowl, beat whipping cream, confectioners’ sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form; pipe or spread over pie. Garnish with maraschino cherries.
