These easy crab rangoon nachos are piled high with wonton chips, imitation crab meat, cream cheese sauce and sweet chili sauce.
Ingredients
- 24 wonton wrappers
- 4 tablespoons olive oil, divided
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup whole milk
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 3 green onions, finely sliced, divided
- 8 ounces imitation crabmeat, finely chopped
- 3 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
- Sesame seeds and chili crunch, for garnish, optional
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400°. Divide two tablespoons of olive oil between two half-sheet pans, brushing evenly over the surface. Cut the wonton wrappers diagonally in half, then arrange them on the sheet pans in a single layer. Brush the tops with the remaining olive oil. Bake until golden brown and crisp, 6-8 minutes.
- Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, over medium-low heat, heat the cream cheese, milk, soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar and garlic powder until smooth and creamy. Remove from heat and stir in half the green onions.
- Place wontons onto serving tray. Dollop cream cheese mixture over top. Sprinkle with crab meat; drizzle with sweet chili sauce. Garnish with remaining green onions, and sesame seeds and chili crisp, as desired.
